Cool ideas. Just find that the overall adoption of RSS readers is still too low for it to become a replacement for email (even if only partially).
I like the idea about a weblog with different access levels, any CMS already doing that?

Yep, RSS adoption is early but just planning for the future. I wrote this after getting 500 pieces of spam in my yahoo account in one day. I'm ready to move to an RSS environment and trying to figure out how it could be done easily. Now I have to get the rest of the email population not consuming feeds to get on the RSSWagon. :-)
Myst Technologies offers different access levels. Maybe even the enterprise version of Userland.
